Andy Haigh
Andy Haigh founded Sixfold in 1990. His sales career began in 1987 when he was given the opportunity to develop a new software development company. Winning the exclusive rights for developing Norsk Data database software catapulted the company to a multi million turnover and a 25 employee base in two years.
Andy was then head hunted to rescue a failing Audio Electronic manufacturing company which he turned to profit in a year by concentrating on improving sales performance and managing the interface between sales and delivery.
Returning to the IT Services industry Andy became involved in the acquisition of companies as a corporate growth strategy. He had an unparalleled opportunity to see many different approaches to sales and sales management. It was here that his ideas on optimising sales strategy began to form and which he has developed ever since.
Joining one of the larger IT Agencies and Management Consultancy businesses, in two years Andy created a £4 million consultancy business concentrating on Public Sector opportunities. Winning sales awards, his innovative approach was instrumental in changing the way in which the Public Sector procures consultancy and from which the legacy of Public Sector framework contracts continue today.
More recently, Andy has been helping a major IT Services business improve bid performance and he set up an organisation that improved bid win rates from 8% to 42%. He trains entire bid teams and has been facilitating seminars for the Irish government as part of their programme designed to assist emerging Irish software companies penetrate the UK Public Sector marketplace.
Andy was certified by Siebel to deliver its Target Account Selling course in 1999 and has successfully instructed sales teams all over Europe in this method. Andy was accredited by Novations Inc to deliver its Talent Development and Talent Coaching programmes in 2005.
