Andy Turner
Andy leads the SME and Welsh business strand for Sixfold International Ltd. He has an exemplary track record in securing public sector bids for large corporations and regularly works with them and the UK Public Sector to provide training, consultancy and interim resource solutions for Government Departments.
Andy has 22 years of solid commercial experience dealing with personnel from every level of industry. He has specialised in the particular issues faced by Royal Mail and its associated companies, where his activities have taken him from clients' mailrooms to their boardrooms. He has demonstrated his credentials in problem solving and leadership roles covering a diverse range of disciplines including operations, processing and organisational administration. His recent work has been focused upon improving win rates through increased proposal quality and implementing successful organisational change management in large corporate environments.
Andy's initial training was in the Royal Air Force, where he developed his self discipline and his intolerance of poor quality. His first management role was in Local Government where he gained his understanding of the Public Sector approach to decision making and procurement. In the Royal Mail, his qualities as a problem solver were quickly recognised and he worked his way through several testing assignments, eventually taking a leading role in its dedicated bid management team.
Over the last 5 years Andy has generated significant levels of profitable revenue for Royal Mail from many prestigious clients. He has designed and tailored a variety of complex services to meet client's needs which ranged from simple operational change through to coordinating complex multi-supplier solutions for other major corporations.
