Proof Reader
Role Description
The Proof reader is responsible for checking all spelling and for ensuring that all text is grammatically correct and properly punctuated. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that all acronyms are defined and consistent throughout the text. Sometimes the proof reader will also be responsible for compiling a glossary of terms.
Role Capabilities
The Proof Reader is capable of spotting even the smallest inaccuracy or inconsistency and is able to work accurately even under very tight timescales.
Role Experience
The Proof Reader will have been employed previously to do this specialised work either as a full time job, or as an important part of a wider job function.
